SAINT STEPHEN FOUNTAIN

SAINT STEPHEN CHURCH

As a symbol of our town this fountain is situated in the roundabout of  Kistelek uniquely in Hungary. The artesian well was drilled in 1892 by Majláth Imre.

The late baroque Saint Stephen Roman Catholic Church has to be emphasized in the list of sights. The original building was consecrated in 1872. The church was certified as a national monument in 1958.

THE CHAPEL KÓCSÓ AND THE CALVARY

THE MUSEUM OF KISTELEK

The Kócsó family raised this monument as a sacral memory which are renoveted and are taken under the local protection in 2001.

The past of rural and artisan life can be followed by the collection of ethnography and local history. Permanent and temporary exhibitions are taken in this place. Under the shade of the 220 year-old oak tree museum nights are organised.
