Kistelek is a modern and a dynamically developing small town, the residents of our town can be proud of Kistelek. The developing town has ordered financial circumstances, the institutional support is provided on long-terms. Moreover the superior investments, the sewage and drinking water works, we have been developing our nursery schools and schools, cultural and sports buildings. Our energetic and health system is a national sample value.

Our settlement has prominent facilities, which have been enhanced by good public road (E75 international road, M5 highway), railroad (Szeged-Budapest) and river transport connections. Besides main transport roads, there is the Kiskunmajsa – Kistelek four-numbered road that opens the M5 exits. This corridor is suitable for both passenger transport and transit and it improves continuously the contacts of Kistelek.

Last decade, local entrepreneurs and arrival investors, projects have boosted the economic life of Kistelek by the development of available sites, appearance of new profiles and creation of new workplaces. Through preferential investment possibilities, we continuously enlarge the signed economic areas size preparing further utility – infrastructure developments.

The first priority for us in Kistelek, is the development of economy and its’ sectors. On the other hand, we pointed out a town quarter sized area at the north-western part for tourism (health – spa – resort) functions and we have made official town regulation on it.

The 50 hectares of Papfenyves forest is located at the northern region of Kistelek town, has been signed and regulated by tourism investment aims. Among others, the concept of golf course, thermal resort centre, eco houses has been appeared.

Local Government of Kistelek town has signed 200 hectare area for trade, service and industrial functions. Partly governmental holdings, partly governmental purchase signed private owners have sites at Economy Development Zone between the town and M5 motorway.

Over multimodal transport facilities, the fundamental infrastructure and the preparation of its development have positive effect on investment friendly circumstances. Moreover, we emphasize the importance of renewable energy usage, mainly solar and geothermal energy usage.
